Applying principles from the first renovation phase, the reinvigorated workplace culture and company brand are rolled out to another floor of this five-story corporate headquarters

Following on the success of the third floor renovation, Ebbrell Architecture + Design again worked with a partner design firm to continue with the phased renovation of NBTC’s Woburn headquarters building. An initial master planning and restack exercise was undertaken between the design of the third and fourth floor renovations, where the headquarters building was studied in its entirety to provide a cohesive, whole-building framework for the individual floor renovations and set the direction for the fourth floor project. The fourth floor renovation carried on the rebranded interior palette from the previous project, while adding in unique differentiating aesthetic elements such as a large scale textural wall paneling that anchors of the center of the floor plate with a feature material..

  • Reinterpreted the rebranding from the previous phase to provide a re-invigorated interior while providing differentiating aesthetic elements to make the design of each floor unique
  • Programmed the space with open workstations and bookable, technology-enabled closed rooms to support the departments’ collaborative and focused-task needs
  • Oriented the renovation around a bold, textural feature material to add interest and design focus within the space
