Collaborative team approach drives design and construction of bespoke headquarters

As this third-generation Massachusetts-based fabric company continued on a growth trajectory, they sought a design solution to carry them into the next era of their business. To achieve their growing space needs, they partnered with Ebbrell Architecture + Design and a development team to design a new ground-up office/industrial headquarters facility for their office, design, client-facing, and warehousing requirements. Ebbrell Architecture + Design undertook an extensive programming exercise to analyze Regal’s space and operational needs to define the program for a new 90,000 SF facility. Following the comprehensive building planning phase, Ebbrell Architecture + Design was enlisted to perform detailed design, interiors, furniture selection and construction drawings for the interior fit-out of the 23,000 SF non-warehouse portion of the building.

  • Right-sized the office, production and warehouse areas for current operations and to accommodate future product volumes
  • Created a modern headquarters facility along with an updated company branding effort to present a contemporary company image
  • Established a process-based organization of spaces including the design studio, sample production, quality control, merchandising workroom, showroom, and fabric archive.
  • Developed an office zone with an optimal balance of private offices, open workstations, closed meeting rooms, open collaborative areas and staff amenity spaces
