Three friends with a passion for golf set out to create a golf simulator bar and lounge at Assembly Row that captures the camaraderie of the beloved entertainment emporium they frequented growing up. The design artfully balances a playful nod to arcade neon while offering a more refined club aesthetic with leather furnishings. Their vision celebrates the site’s history, with Assembly Row now occupying the location where the iconic Good Time Emporium once welcomed Boston-area revelers, while it introduces a golf-focused venue for today’s urban crowd. Ebbrell Architecture + Design brought this concept to life with a design that pairs playful neon energy with the comfortable style of a neighborhood social club, offering six state-of-the-art simulators, a full bar, commercial kitchen, and stylish lounge areas.
