A two-phase medical office relocation built around wellness, patient care, and staff support

Middleton Family Medicine’s relocation involved the phased build-out of their new home within an existing multi-tenant office building, accommodating both their specialty services and primary care operations. Phase 1 focused on maximizing exam rooms and clinical efficiency for dermatology, behavioral health, gastroenterology, and MOHS treatment, on budget and within a fast-track schedule. Phase 2 consolidated the majority of their primary care practice into a repurposed office and lab space, introducing a spatial layout model to improve patient flow, access to natural light, and staff efficiency—resulting in a warm, high-functioning medical environment designed for long-term growth.

  • Completed a fast-tracked 4,500 SF phase 1specialty suite including dermatology, MOHS, endoscopy, gastroenterology, and behavioral health, with shared support areas and offices.
  • Optimized the layout to maximize the number of exam rooms while ensuring ample access to daylight for staff spaces.
  • Transformed an existing office and lab area into the new primary care suite, supporting a growing practice and evolving care model.
  • Developed a pod-based staff team layout to optimize private staff workspace, enhance patient flow and reduce wait times
