What is your favorite aspect of working as an interior designer?

My favorite aspect is seeing an existing space and seeing its potential. Being able to visualize the end result and seeing it come to fruition is so incredibly satisfying.

Why did you become an Interior Designer?

I have always been interested in art and decorating. In high school my grandmother ended up going into a nursing home. Seeing what the facilities were like made me want to try and figure out better designs for them that would improve their lives as well as the staff taking care of them. As I got into school and learned about materials, space planning and full design, I was hooked.

What’s at the top of your bucket list?

Top of my bucket list is mostly traveling to amazing places with my family. Helping my children see different cultures, architecture, landscapes, and the beauty our world holds for us.
