The September project of the month is the Cometeer corporate headquarters in Gloucester, a 12,000 SF new fit-out for makers of the first precision-brewed, flash-frozen coffee. This month we also look back at two of our Technical/Manufacturing projects for Regal Fabrics and Festo, and highlight our Cometeer article, first published in High Profile Monthly.

HQ renovations completed for cutting edge ☕ company

The big picture: Cometeer, makers of the first precision-brewed, flash-frozen coffee, based in Gloucester, MA was growing rapidly during the project which required ongoing changes to the design plans. But we rolled with the punches with enthusiasm!

The design deets:

• The renovations in the 12,000 sq/ft industrial office space took place in three phases
• We created a mid-century inspired design that aligned with Cometeer’s retro-future branding and coffee technology culture
• The lobby and was a huge branding moment. We created a custom wall covering for the three story elevator shaft and added pendant lights, both of which were a nod to Cometeer’s products and packaging

The favorite spot: The Sensory Bar where the coffee team performs quality control tests, samples new coffees, and shares the latest brews with colleagues. It is the focal point of the office that is both functional and aligned with the company’s brand.
