Washington Capital Lerner + Holmes

FEATURED PROJECT

A New Workplace Without a New Address

One Big Thing: Relocating within the same building gave Washington Capital Lerner + Holmes an opportunity to rethink how its workplace looks, feels, and functions. The result is a sophisticated new environment that better reflects this Boston firm’s identity while supporting a range of work styles.

Why It Works: By pairing a more efficient layout with bold design choices and strong visual connections to Boston Harbor, the new office delivers a more contemporary employee experience while balancing focus, collaboration, and everyday functionality.

Design Highlights:

💻 The reconfigured plan supports both individual and team work in a modern environment.🎨 A high-contrast palette with blue and magenta accents gives the workplace a distinctive identity.

🌊 Black-framed glazing draws attention to expansive views of Boston Harbor.📏 Overhead baffle elements distinguish reception and conferencing areas while adding visual structure to the workplace.

☕ Glass partitions help control noise while preserving daylight and views to the harbor beyond.

The Bottom Line:

This project shows how thoughtful planning and distinctive design can turn a move into an opportunity to create a workplace that better reflects an organization’s identity and the way its people work today.
