Ebbrell designs first US office for global diagnostics firm

The big picture: Working with real estate holding company KS Partners, Ebbrell Architecture + Design created a 3500 sq/ft workspace and lab in Andover, MA for MeMed an Israeli-based med-tech company. This is the first US office for MeMed whose clients include the US Department of Defense and the European Commission.

The design deets:

• A high deck height allowed the use of open ceilings where we painted the main ductwork in MeMed’s brand of blue
• Black door frames and hardware along with linear lighting fixtures give the innovative workspace a modern feel
• Furniture and finishes were coordinated throughout to wrap up the space into a comfortable and efficient place to work
• We integrated all HQ design principles into the new space

Employees weren’t left out:

• Adjustable height workstations support the needs of each employee
• A variety of individual and group work areas give staff flexibility while allowing for personal space

And we stayed in budget: The Ebbrell team maintained the design intent all while staying within the landlord’s tenant improvement budget.
