Miika Ebbrell

Boxford, MA– Ebbrell Architecture + Design (EAD), a Massachusetts-certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise, announced that Principal and Founder Miika Ebbrell has obtained architectural licensure in New Jersey and Rhode Island. The move expands the firm’s footprint beyond the New England states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine, enabling EAD to better serve clients with multi-state operations.

“When our clients grow, we grow with them,” said Ebbrell. “Expanding our licensure allows us to carry established standards and trusted working relationships into new commercial projects.”

Ebbrell noted that clients with regional portfolios seek design partners who understand their culture and can apply that knowledge consistently across locations. “Licensure across the Northeast allows us to support that work without disruption,” she said.

EAD’s portfolio includes interior fit-outs, building repositioning, lab and technical environments, workplace transformations, manufacturing, higher education, and community spaces. Despite growth, the firm remains intentionally boutique, prioritizing senior-level engagement, responsive partnership, and thoughtful, high-quality architecture and design.

“Our growth is deliberate,” Ebbrell added. “And it allows us to deliver solutions that are creative, efficient, and tailored to our clients’ needs.”

With these new licenses, Ebbrell Architecture + Design is positioned to expand its reach while maintaining the high-touch service and design excellence that has defined the firm since its founding.
