Cosmetic renovation transforms a dated office into a modern workplace

When QuickSilva law purchased their new building in Bedford, they turned to Ebbrell Architecture + Design to breathe new life into the dated building. While the existing layout worked well for QuickSilva’s needs, the interior underwent a complete cosmetic gut renovation to contemporize the interiors and better align the design with QuickSilva’s brand. The centerpiece of the renovation is the central café and lounge, which by performing structural modifications to combine an existing kitchenette and adjacent breakroom, along with the addition of glass entrances from multiple points in the floorplate, has transformed the heart of the space into an open and bright central gathering space for the building. The new training room has added expanded functionality to the building, providing seating for fifty with ample windows and skylights that create an inviting room for industry training and events.

  • Reconfigured the entry area into a client-centered reception and waiting zone with café area for professional and family clients including a family room, wellness/mother’s room and multiple conference rooms
  • Performed a complete cosmetic renovation of the interior to modernize and rebrand the space including the furniture package.
  • Selectively reconfigured the space to optimize functionality in a mix of private offices, shared offices, and open workstations for a staff of 50,  with a large training room for 50.
  • Completed a Phase 2 art and environmental package following initial move-in to complete and brand the space
